Candice's new new hairdo

Sunday's are one of my favorite days.  Candice always picks out what she wants to wear Saturday night, and tries on a few outfits, and then changes her mind Sunday morning (a few more times), and then when we are ready to go she always looks beautiful :).  I always like to take pictures on Sunday now.

Summer updates pt 6- September- Apple picking

Another reason fall is one of my favorite seasons is because its apple picking season.  It's fun to do, plus Candice also makes apple pie, apple sauce, apple cakes, and I eat about 5 apples a day.  Candice and Rachel decided that the fruit on the tree of life will be a honeycrisp apple, and I said it was a watermelon.  After being pointed out that watermelons don't grow on trees I changed my fruit to a honeycrisp/watermelon combo fruit.

Summer updates pt 5- September- Michael Soccer

Begining of school is also the begining of soccer.  I am one of Michael's coaches again this year, along with 2 other parents from our church.  It's great having 3 coaches, and Michael has really exploded in soccer this year.  He always loved defence and goalie, but his favorite is forward now since he has a really strong kick and scored 3 goals in one game this season!

Summer updates pt 4- September- First day of school

The classic first day of school pictures.  Since Rachel leaves earlier we didn't plan enough ahead to get all three of them in the same picture.

Summer updates pt 3 - August - Lisa's visit

Our friend Lisa and family came up to visit for a week during August.  They liked it so much they are actually looking to move here to go to law school.  They might even move into the house right across the road from us!

Summer updates pt 2 - August - Rachel looses the braces

Hard to believe 18 months went by so quickly.  This was Rachel the morning before she had her braces taken off.

Summer updates pt 1 - July - Visit to the Odles

So, really behind posting for this summer...  End of July Candice took the kids out to Indiana to visit one of her best friends who was up visiting their summer home.  They actually live right around the corner from where we used to live in Hutto, TX.
