Our Spring Break to CT - Day 1 - Great Wolf Lodge water park

For this spring break we planned to travel out east to visit our friends out in CT.  On the way we would be able to stop in Ohio and visit Candice's childhood home and see where she grew up.  We also decided to toss in a day at the Wisconsin Dells on Day 1 to tire out the kids for the drive.  I also decided to be brave and try to "almost" real time blog it (being day 3 right now).  So here are the shots from Day 1/2 at Great Wolf Lodge in Wisconsin Dells.

Kiddos under the water bucket.

Megan loves the water.
Rachel gets to use the goggles.
Michael never looks at the camera :)
I seriously had to take this picture about 10 times across 15 minutes since people kept walking infront of us and the kids kept moving.  That's why they look like robots, because I said "Nobody move!!".
The bucket almost pulled down Rachel's suit on this one :)
Mommy and Rachel relaxing by the wave pool.
Mommy and Daddy poolside.  It's nice that all the kids can look after themselves now.
 Rachel and Daddy.
Rachel and Megan and Michael all loved the wave pool, but Rachel got tired of watching the kids because she kept thinking that Michael and Megan were going to drown if she took her eyes off of them.  It's her motherly instinct coming out already :).
After the pool we went over to an indoor amusement park where Michael and Rachel got to race go carts for the very first time.  Michael was super excited.
Michael got to win since he got the head start at the beginning.
Mommy and Rachel chilling watching Megan.

Michael loved racing the go cart.  This is his "serious but having fun" face.

Megan spent all her time in on the inflatable pillow.
After the bouncing and go carts the kids saw a 4D movie called the "haunted mine shaft" where it was 3D with moving chairs.  It's funny how the amusement park was an afterthought to the water park but the kids remembered the amusement park more!!

Wait - who are these people? I don't recognize a single one of you!

Kidding. It's just been awhile since we've seen you guys. Maybe Thanksgiving this year?

Love,
Jen and Kris
